Thermal Jackets

Save up to 50% on energy costs with insulation jackets!

Energy consumption accounts for such a large portion of production costs that optimizing it can significantly improve your bottom line — and your competitiveness.

Insulation jackets are easy to install and not only deliver impressive energy savings of up to 50%, but also offer a fast return on investment (ROI), typically within 3–6 months.

In addition to injection molding machines, consider installing insulation jackets on a wide range of your other equipment, including blow molding and extrusion machines, extrusion heads, and material dryers.

Construction

The insulation jackets are made from high-temperature resistant materials.
The outer layer consists of coated fiberglass fabric.
Attachment and tightening are done using straps with a combination of heavy-duty buckles and/or high-temperature Velcro, depending on the application.
The housings for the thermocouples are reinforced with a steel bushing.

Insulation material

Our standard insulation jackets are made from fiberglass insulation, which is strong, durable and highly flexible.

Premium-series jackets are made from Aerogel.

Aerogel is an incredibly lightweight, durable and highly porous material known for its remarkable properties. It is exceptionally strong with a low thermal conductivity, providing outstanding insulation performance.

Aerogel insulation jackets are much stiffer in construction, and although they are more expensive, their enhanced insulating properties result in greater efficiency; our experience shows they deliver reported energy savings of up to 45%.
