The crystals move flexibly during grinding and always optimally align themselves in relation to the surface; the stock removal level constantly remains even. The result is a completely smooth surface on almost all materials: metal, plastics, glass, wood, lacquer or stone. Practically all smooth surfaces can be superfine ground. In doing so, it is possible to work with a considerably coarser grit size than usual and markedly finer surfaces result all the same. Comparatively large grinding crystals and the flexible carrier material prevent scratches on the workpiece, since no adherence of the grinding crystals occurs as a result of dust particle accumulation.
