Flatness gauges

Flatness gauges are used to check the flatness of lapping discs. The profile rail incl. dial gauge is positioned on the reference stone and the dial gauge is set to “0”. The rail is subsequently placed on the lapping disc. The flatness deviation can be read on the dial gauge.
