Ceramic dressing rings with SPYLAP® control system

The patented SPYLAP® system allows control over the temperature of the lapping disc (and the resulting flatness) during dressing in the simplest possible manner.

Each ceramic dressing ring is equipped with SPYLAP® elements that change colour from black to red as a result of temperature increase during processing. Changes can therefore be detected at an early stage and the process parameters such as pressure and diamond fluid, etc. can be adjusted. The temperature can thus be decreased again and the flatness of the lapping disc can be retained.

Ceramic dressing rings are suitable for steel lapping discs, composite lapping discs and Bi-Composite lapping discs.
