Lapping and polishing fluid

Product information "Lapping and polishing fluid"
The choice of the lapping agent used depends on the materials to be processed. The size and type of grit depends on the hardness of the material and the surface roughness requirements. The most commonly used grit sizes are FEPA 400 to FEPA 800. The lapping fluid serves as a carrier and sliding medium. It conveys the lapping grain onto the lapping wheel and cools it during the lapping process. The guideline value for the mixing ratio between lapping grain and lapping fluid should be approx. 200 g/litre. For water-soluble lapping fluid, the mixing ratio should be increased to 300 g/litre.
Protection against microbial growth, ideal for long service lives in central systems and individually filled systems.
